Peter Hartwell's beautiful set last summer for our first show, On a First Name Basis, had our audiences enthralled. How he integrated design elements of Cairns Hall into the set brought an intimacy to the show and showcased the incredible beauty of our performance space. I can't wait to work with him again for our second season!
Visit Niagara and take in The Foster Festival in St. Catharines. The theatre itself is gorgeous and elegant and the Norm Foster play was a big treat. We were blown away by the whole experience. Restaurant options close by were abundant, we can't wait for the next play!
...seeing this production of On a First Name Basis opened my eyes to why Norm Foster is so widely produced. Not only is a play like First Name extremely funny, but it also never loses a sense of the characters' common humanity.
An excellent show, stage set, lighting, and sound were all beautiful. It was amazing to see Norm Foster and Patricia Vanstone in this play again. Well worth the drive from Toronto.
